Now that we’ve all adjusted our watches for daylight saving time, the hour isn’t the only thing to “spring forward” this season. We’re seeing exciting new fashion trends as timepiece enthusiasts refresh their collections to include neutral tones, nautical looks, and boho styles for 2025. Today, we take a look at some amazing pieces we have in stock right now at DavidSW that will have you ready for spring. *
The Rolex Yachtmaster 40 with Slate Dial
Starting with our bread-and-butter watch company, Rolex offers a wide variety of timepieces in different styles, colors, and sizes. The company has the largest brand awareness of them all, and while they’ve been making watches for generations, they still know how to stay contemporary while looking timeless.

Released in 1992, the Yachtmaster is the perfect answer to the nautical trends we’re seeing this spring. It was developed as a sea-faring watch inspired by the world of yachting and was seen as a luxurious alternative to the Submariner. It’s rumored that when Rolex first started working on the new model, it was designed to be the next generation of the Sub. Fearing the backlash from their diehard dive-loving community, Rolex decided not to risk altering the Submariner, and instead, released an entirely new model, the Yachtmaster.
Luckily, the watch was well received with models flying off the shelves. Today, you can still see the Submariner DNA if you take a long look at the Yachtmaster, but I have to agree; the watch is laid back and lux. The slate dial variation creates a monochromatic look with neutral grays, steel, and platinum tones. The subtle pop of blue on the face and seconds hand is all you need to break up the dial, and the watch goes with almost any fit you’ll put on this Spring.
Rolex 124300 Oyster Perpetual 41 with Yellow Dial
We saw a ton of yellow trending in fashion this season, and the bright, friendly color is the perfect companion for whatever outings you have planned this spring. Introduced in 2020, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual received an upgrade that included several new dials. We saw Rolex push their boundaries by including vibrant colors like turquoise, green, and yellow. At 41mm, the watch wears quite comfortably on his or her wrist, and although yellow has since been discontinued, upon writing this article, the piece is available at DavidSW.

The design itself is completely straightforward as a simple three-hander. The Oyster Perpetual is Rolex’s most inexpensive line, and to many, it may seem like an introductory step towards more exclusive timepieces. But the appeal of the OP shouldn’t be dismissed as they always deliver unique colors not seen on other models. Looking back, the Purple Grape and White Grape dials were some of my personal favorites because it’s another example of Rolex pushing their own envelope. Throw on your favorite fit, pop this watch on, and by the time you walk out the door, you’ll be ready for Spring.
Blancpain Villeret Quantième Phases de Lune 18K Rose Gold
While neutrals are dominating the season, your watch can be the perfect accent piece to balance your style. A great ladies watch that’s on the warmer side, the Blancpain Villeret is a lot of watch for the price and fits within an impressive 29mm case. Let’s break it down.

Blancpain makes some amazing dive watches with professional style, and many don’t even know they carry ladies watches; but don’t pass them up so easily. This Villeret is encased in 18K rose gold and sits elegantly on the wrist. The warm ivory dial includes your traditional three hands, plus a concentric date ring and moon phase indicator. Roman numerals encircle the dial, and on the back, we get an open caseback – a rare thing at 29mm. If you’re wearing warm pinks, peach, red or brown this Spring, this addition will complete the look.

Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with White Dial
Everyone needs a “Daily” in their watch collection: a watch you don’t have to worry about, that you can throw on in a moment’s notice with little to no thought about matching your outfit and know that you’ll look good. It’s also usually a piece that can handle a variety of situations with the endurance to work alongside you every day without skipping a beat.

Meet the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, reference 116520. The piece is built on the shoulders of a racing inspired lineage dating back to 1963. In stainless steel, the watch is a tank and can handle the daily wear and tear while still looking great on the wrist. With a white dial, the piece is easily paired with any attire and can even be dressed up if the occasion calls for it. This Spring we’re all about looking good, and it’s nice to know that with this piece you can move a little faster.

Tudor 79010SG Black Bay 925 Silver
Next up, the Tudor Black Bay 925. The Black Bay line is nearly synonymous with the brand and for good reason. With an incredible track record, Tudor has grown the line to include a spectrum of timepieces that range in size and style. While its history lies in the depths of diving, we’ve seen chronographs and dressy divers added in recent years.

In 925 silver, the piece wears a little brighter than your typical steel watch. The Taupe dial is perfect for the Spring season and can sway from warm to cool and back in an instant, making it a versatile pick that will get along with whatever you’re wearing. At 39mm, the piece is for him or for her, and the calfskin strap elevates the whole look.

Panerai Luminor Marina with White Dial
Italian military-grade tools might not sound like a first-round pick for your Spring collection, but if you’re familiar with the Florence-born watchmaker, then you already know that they’ve grown into a luxury brand with fashionable pieces based on their naval roots.

The Luminor Marina can trace its roots all the way back to the 1800’s, but today the PAM 1314 stands as a stylish timepiece that just so happens to have 300 meters of water resistance. Although the watch comes with a durable rubber strap, we prefer the suede-finish green leather strap to contrast with the bright white dial. Suede joined the runway back in the Fall, but it’s here to stay through the Spring, so grab this piece while you can.
