Their parent company and luxury goods brand, LVMH, is also a sponsor for the event. Tag Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green
The Monaco is arguably one of the most automotive-driven timepieces ever produced, and the spirit is still alive and well in modern chronographs and special editions like this piece we’re covering today. This is the limited-edition Monaco Racing Green Chronograph.
What immediately sets this watch apart is its vibrant green colors. Constructed in ultra-light titanium, the color breaks up the neutral case with pops of green in the subdials and a matching strap. Keeping with the heritage design, the dial has dropped “TAG” from the logo and kept the classic “Heuer” front and center. We also get a reversed crown that falls on the left side of the case, true to the original design. Under the hood, we have the Calibre 11 automatic with a 40-hour power reserve, plus a water resistance of 100 meters, making this a great allrounder…especially on a great day at F1.
Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Sport
Zenith has been creating high-precision chronograph calibres for over a century, achieving groundbreaking success with their in-house El Primero movement. This movement was so well made that they even provided chronograph movements to Rolex for over a decade, creating what are now highly collectible crossover pieces.
Having received several upgrades over the years, the El Primero movement is still beating alive and well in modern chronographs like this Chronomaster Sport. When released in 2021, everyone had the same thoughts…The overall look is strikingly similar to the beloved modern Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. The dial, the bezel, even the bracelet, all resemble the Rolex icon. That being said, the wait time on a Daytona from an AD these days is enough to make you look elsewhere, and the Chronosport is a sight for sore eyes. With a classic “panda” white dial, the watch carries three subdials in silver, grey, and blue. The scale printed on the black ceramic bezel features the text “1/10 of a second” denoting the advanced timing function of the El Primero movement compared to that of Rolex’s. An open case back gives you a full view of the gorgeous automatic caliber while 100 meters of water resistance ensures this watch will stand up to nearly anything you might encounter racing on the track or cheering in the stands.
Bulgari Octo Roma Clous de Paris
Bulgari has been making watches for decades, but they made waves in the watch world and turned the heads of enthusiasts when they released the Octo line in 2012. Since then, the brand has won several awards for incredible designs that truly feel unique to Bulgari.
The Octo Finissimo is the most popular, but the Octo Roma collection borrows from the same aesthetic with some refined touches to add elegance and practicality where it can. This Octo Roma Clous de Paris was released in 2023 and marked a new generation for the watch. The most noticeable feature is that for which the watch is named, the Cloud de Paris dial motif. A hobnail style creates texture and depth across the anthracite-colored dial. Backed by the BVL 191 movement, the watch has a power reserve of 50 hours. Hublot Big Bang 10th Anniversary Ferrari “Speciale”
Hublot has had a long-standing relationship with Ferrari dating back to 2012. While the partnership has largely changed since 2020, there have been several collaboration pieces released over the years that have an intrinsic racing spirit with bold designs. This Big Bang 10th Anniversary Ferrari “Speciale” was released in 2015 at BaselWorld to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Big Bang collection. Both grey and black versions are limited to only 250 pieces and include several features paying homage to Ferrari and the world of racing.
Powered by the in-house UNICO automatic caliber HUB1241, the watch has a power reserve of 72 hours and has 100 meters of water resistance in true high-performance fashion. The dial is clear, revealing the inner workings of the movement behind a black mesh meant to resemble the classic black Ferrari grille. At 9 o’clock, we get the Ferrari horse logo and at 3 o’clock, a minute counter and date window. Inspired by the North American Racing Team uniforms, the watch is encased in grey ceramic with a matching grey and black striped leather strap. A tribute to racing and the legacy of motorsport, this Anniversary piece is a great pickup if you’re looking to be on theme for the Grand Prix.
